Tablet is comming...
January 18, 2010 at 22:57 People have their wishes and stuff they expect from this thing... here is my view on the whole iSlate deal...
I'd love for it to have some sort of connectivity to other Apple computers so it can be used as a remote screen via WiFi… and the screen is multitouch and also supports stylus input… I can use it as a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet set on the desk beside the keyboard.. or I can use it as a WiFi Cintiq… iMac or Mac Pro would do the "calculations" and the tablet would just be an I/O device… that way I can work on an 27" iMac and use the tablet as a huge track pad and pick it up when I need to edit some small detail… hand and eye on tablet is more precise than hand on tablet, eye on screen… it could also display a preview of a video I'm working on in Final Cut… it could be a tool palet… iTunes and Boxee (Front Row, Plex,..) remote… read my email and rss feeds while I eat, wait in line, or travel… great translation device for comunication when traveling (voice recognition and automatic translation, also supports text input)… gps module included and a compas… many things I'd like to do on my iPhone but can't since it's so slow…
I want it to be $999 and replace MacBook Air... it must play 720p video and load 3-10MB photos without 1 hour delays... I want a front facing camera, a slot for a SIM card so I can get 3G on the go... 1 USB port, WiFi, BT (Apple Wireless Keyboard connectivity), OLED screen, Mini Display Port, Audio I/O, stereo speakers... shinny apple logo on the back :)
give it to me Steve! :)

January 11, 2010 at 11:52 Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
